Driving up 55 heading to STL, my wife found this diamond in the rough on line. About 2 miles west of 55, well worth the time to find it. Terrific service, food, and prices. I requested a slice of their home made apple pie to go, and it was possibly the best move I made that day. Perfection on a fork. Enough said.
Stopped in for breakfast on a trip down south from St. Louis area. Service was excellent, food was executed well. The inside is nothing fancy but the prices are very reasonable for the portions that you get. Special shout out for the biscuits and gravy . Biscuits were tender and flaky, the gravy, the right consistency, and excellently flavored.
No skimping on food here!! Home cooked meals at fair prices. Just outside Festus, if you go too fast, you might miss it! Could use some updating. However, it is just a little country cafe. I've never gotten anything bad here. Our food is usually very good. Waitresses are generally friendly.
It's a little off the beaten path but has plenty of parking and seating . Service was good the waitress was quick to my table , very helpful and energetic. The food options were good , I cheated on my gluten free diet since my gf wasn't around and I found a good place to do it . All the food in my pictures was right at $13.00 dollars which is very reasonable. The quality was good and I didn't have hardly any wait from when I ordered.
